Instructor Workshop for Taichi For Arthritis

The 2 days Taichi For Arthritis Workshop aims to train passionate and competent instructor to learn how to teach this program to people with or without arthritis, as well as  to improve and refine their taichi skill and knowledge. At the end of the workshop, they understand better how taichi work for arthritis, learnt to teach program safely and effective teaching method and how to set up classess.
5 of my advanced taichi student who has 2 to 3 years experience was selected to attend the course hoping that after the course, they are able helping to spread the programe, help more people to improve their health and quality of life.

Taichi For Energy Workshop By Dr Paul Lam

4th June & 5th June 2011 - Taichi For Energy, a new revitalizing program by Dr Paul Lam.
This program is comprised of two different taichi styles, Chen style is vigorous and complex, combining fast and slow movements with powerful spiral force. Sun style incorporates unique qigong movement with agile steping. These two seemingly contrasting styles have complementary internal energy.
Using his deep understanding of taichi principles and over 30 years of teaching experience, Dr Lam has carefully combined movements from Chen and Sun styles to produce a powerful synergy in Taichi For Energy. With regular practice and in a relatively short period of time, this program will help acquire better health and wellness, internal energy and the ability to manage stress

Explore the Depth of Taichi Workshop By Dr Paul Lam

29th May & 30th May 2011 -  a 2 days workshop to explore the depth of taichi with dr Paul, not only applicable for Sun style, but all different style of taichi, main topic covered:
The most important factor about taichi and its effects is based on the following essential principles:
1. Body - a) posture
                b) Weight transfer
2. Movement - a) slow. smooth and continuous 
                       b) gentle resistance
3. Internal - a) song 松
                   b) jing 静
Qi circulation - The ultimate purpose of taichi is cultivating strong and healthy Qi to circulation throughout the body
Dantian breathing method - how the breathing is relating to storing and delivering energy
Variation in speed - to initial the regenerate new energy
