Public Forum On Osteoporosis @ SGH - 27th Oct 2012

World Osteoporosis Day is observed annually on 20 October, and launches a year-long campaign dedicated to raising global awareness of the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of osteoporosis and metabolic bone disease.

A public forum was organised by SGH, dedicated to bone health awareness and where the individuals are being prompted to look into their personal risks for osteoporosis. They are also urged to take steps and appropriate actions to reduce their risks.

Taiji is proven to be one of the effective weight bearing exercise to improve the condition, it helps to slow down the bone density loss, strengthen the muscle and bone, improve the flexibility of joints.

YCKCC Taiji Interest Group Photo - 22nd Oct 2012

Remember all these photo?  we took these to showcase our YCKCC taiji interest group. Some of the photo will be displayed on the Active Lifestyle with PAssion Event, an anuual high point engagement activity for the National Tai Chi Program, on 25th Nov 2012 at Republic Polytechnic, look out for your faces there.

The aim of the event is to encourage seniors to lead and active lifestyle and stay healthy. It is a half a day program including Taichi performance and a mega workshop on "Taichi and Health". Participants will also get to try-out the different active lifestyle workshops to develop interest other than Taichi

Moonfest Taiji Nite 2012, 1st Oct 12

十月是非常忙碌的一个月, 一连串紧密的妆艺太极剑的工作坊和彩排,让我消受不了, 非常抱歉,耽误了上载,让大家久等了。照片终于出炉了 MoonfestTaijiNite2012

筹备了3个月,今天终于等到了让大家大展身手的时刻了。 趁着一年一度中秋节的庆祝活动,今年特别邀请各班级,组织自己的小组呈现一个表演项目,节目要求创意,新颖, 富娱乐性。 所以这三个月,观察到大家如火如荼的进行着准备工作,开会讨论,剪接音乐,编排套路,物色服装/道具等。看着同学们热心的参与,友情也在不知不觉中开花了。
