The opening segment in Chingay 2013 will involve audience members displaying 10,000 calligraphy pieces, 5000 performers, the largest number for a Chingay opening to date, Taiji Sword is one of the programme.妆艺2013节目亮点是在开幕礼上，表演者以耍太极剑，挥毫，诗篇朗诵等具中华文化色彩的表演形式，体现“正气”情怀。表演人数，将创下历来最高记录，多达5000人。《正气歌》正气磅礴，希望借此激励人民坚韧不拔，克服万难。

看看这八位来自YCKCC的帅哥美女，当然还有Vannie 老师和素香老师的学员，我们24人为了这个记者招待会勤练了整个星期。由于时间紧迫，三组人必须集体练习，培养默契，为此我们尽量配合彼此的时间一起练习， 研究问题，希望做的最好。

A big thanks to all for the time and effort in training for the past 2 months. A special wish to Linda Chan too who has been training hard with us but withdraw last minute due to operation, let's wish her speedy recovery. 

Sword Performance For Mid Autumn Festival Celebration

23rd Sept 2012 - A sword performance for Mid Autumn Festival Celebration organised by Lena Chan, my vocal and singing teacher

The routine is modified from 42 competition routine with additional Chen Style strokes, which is one of the opening programme for Chingay 2013.

Unfortunately, a thunder storm striked and caused the short circuit of the main electrical board, the performance was done in darkness without sound system and on slippery floor. Luckily we prepared our own mini speaker which helped little in the performanace. It is  a great experience for performers too for unforseen circumstance that can happens anytime during the display.

18 Dec 2011 - 年关将近，弥勒老人会筹备了一个1500人的素午宴， 宴请孤苦伶仃的老人。 我们有幸参与， 呈献了三项太极节目，娱乐老人，也算是回馈社会。

YCKCC Mid Autumn Celebration performance

 

灿烂的灯饰，热闹的 歌台， 传统小食，传统婚礼展览，各种多元文化表演等等， 杨厝港民众俱乐部举办了一个很别开生面的中秋庆祝会，吸引了人山人海的各种族居民，济济一堂，过了一个温馨和谐的夜晚。 太极俱乐部呈现了太极剑，太极刀和妆艺工夫扇的表演。

The whole community club was decorated with glamourous and splendid lighting, excited song and dance from getai attracted large crowd even under the drizzle, multi-racial performance, traditional wedding ceremony exhibition and childhood snacks stall, this grand mid-autumn celebration was organised by Yio Chu Kang CC and our Taiji Club was invited to performance various taiji performance too

PA Trainers' Symposium - Chingay Taichi Gong Fu Fan Performance

 24th July 2011 - PA Trainers' Symposium @ Swissotel The Stamford
 Total 15 of us include Gladys, Vannie, Joanne & Roland, Adeline, Amanda, Ailing, Shwu Meei, Shi Yu, Ghek Song, Chee Ming & Lilian, JB Tan & Poh Choo & Chen Long have been practiced hard for the performance since 2 month ago, 3 times per week, the practice was intensify during rehearsal. All the hardwork and exhausting days win the applause of the audience
